Description Of Cisco QSFP-100G-DR-S Compatible Optical Transceiver
The Cisco QSFP-100G-DR-S compatible optical transceiver is a Single
Lambda 106.25Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP28 module
for use in 100GBASE Ethernet.
This 100GBASE-DR provides 100Gb/s throughput up to 500 meters over
single-mode fiber (SMF) with built-in FEC using 1310nm wavelength
via a duplex LC connector. This transceiver is fully compliant with
QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), 100G Lambda MSA, IEEE 802.3
100GBASE-DR and CAUI-4 standard.
Each 100GBASE-DR optical transceiver is factory pre-programmed with
all the necessary configuration data for seamless network
integration and performs identically to genuine Cisco
QSFP-100G-DR-S transceivers, with excellent interoperation with
Cisco QSFP28 port devices.
