Description Of 10GBASE ZR
This 10GBASE ZR provides a high-speed data transfer rate of up to
10 Gigabits per second over a long distance of up to 80 kilometers
using single-mode fiber optic cables. It’s an ideal choice for a
wide range of applications in enterprise and telecommunications
networks.
This Juniper EX-SFP-10GE-ZR compatible 10GBASE ZR transceiver is
fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae
standards. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire
serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, which provides
real-time monitoring of the transceiver temperature, laser bias
current, optical power, received optical power and transceiver
supply voltage.
