This Cisco SFP-10G-SR compatible SFP+ transceiver is fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, IEEE 802.3-2012 10GBASE-SR/SW and 10G Fibre Channel. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

This transceiver is programmed to be compatible with a wide range of Cisco network equipment such as Cisco 3100 WS series, Cisco 4500 WS series, Cisco 4900 series, Cisco 5700 Air series, Cisco 6000, Cisco 6800 series, Cisco C6800 series, Cisco Nexus 2000 series, Cisco Nexus 3000 series, Cisco Nexus 5000 series, Cisco Nexus 7000 series, Cisco Nexus 9000 series, Cisco WS-C2960S series, Cisco WS-C3560E series etc.
